[Performance] Data Loss after renaming folder

Exactly as the title says. I was organizing all my documents so I made a folder. I added all my relevant stuff to the folder. I open a few other documents and now they are above the folder. so to make the folder pop up at the top I renamed it. I closed out of the app and now the folder is empty and I can't find any of the documents i put in the folder. Please help
