Pixelated Canvas and brushes since latest update

Ever since the last update the brush options have changed and every brush I use has a pixelated texture even when increasing the DPI to max. 
I can't draw any of my usual art. Anyone else having this issue? Is there something I could do so that I can resume my work as quickly as possible?
