Problem with vector layers in Fresco and importing them to Photoshop in vectors

How can I keep my vectorized layers in Fresco all at the same scale ? For example, when I draw a circle to a new layer and I scale that circle to fit the vector underlayer shape, I see in the main layer window that everything looks fine, but when I see the preview ( by going over the layer with my pencal ) of the new layer is of scale ! This "bug" is confirmed when I transfert everything in Psd, the vector layer is of scale and I have to ajust it manually. This os teally not practical when mart as multiple layers! Can some one as a solution for this? I would be bery grateful indeed! Thanks!

Hello @17622161,

Could you confirm the version of Fresco/OS installed and your device's make/model and share a small screen recording of your exact workflow so I can try to replicate this on my end and better understand the problem?

Hi Anubhav, i am on a big work seeeion this week so I am going to answer you shortly for now, my fresco version is the most recent one v5.5.5, I think. For now I have managed the situation by merging all my vector layers in Fresco into one after working them separately before exporting the vector image to Photoshop, seems to be the only way to keep evreything into vectors and everything in the same scale and place. Otherwise an image composed with for different layers, will appear fine in fresco, but when you export to PSD, every layer go all over the place not keeping scale and place, very annoying. I come back to you sometime next week. Thanks !

Thanks for the update! I totally understand that you’re in the middle of a big work session—no rush at all. We’re looking forward to seeing your workflow and a screen recording when you have the time. That would really help us understand what’s going wrong with the scaling issue.

 

In the meantime, it’s great that merging vector layers in Fresco before exporting to Photoshop is working as a temporary fix. Definitely sounds frustrating, though, so we’ll try to figure out why the layers aren’t keeping their scale and position.
