Recover drawing progress

I worked on a drawing on fresco for hours yesterday and let it save and closed the app like I normally do. When I opened it back up today to keep working on it, all of my progress from yesterday is gone and when I go to the version history it isn’t there. The file also won’t open when I click on it and says “the document does not appear to be a valid PSD file”. I didn’t change the file type and literally made the file in fresco, so I have no idea what happened. It has been opening fine the past few days. If anyone knows how to recover all of my progress please let me know, before yesterday I basically only had an outline and base colors so now I practically have to start all over again.
