select drawn lines in layer with photo

I accidentally drew on a layer with a reference photo and now i lost all my progress because its on the wrong layer because i have to remove the photo after tracing. is there a way to select only the photo on that layer and delete it but keep the illustration on the same layer?

Thanks for reaching out. I tried replicating this workflow on my end and found it was not possible to remove the photo while keeping the Illustration. I understand that this might not be ideal, and you might need to start again with a new layer.
