Smudge Tool Stopped Working

The graphite brush on the smudge tool all of a sudden stopped working. I'm using iPad Pro and it's fully updated. When I draw to smudge the curser stays in the same place on screen and nothing is smudged as I drag back and forth. It was working just last week. I tried other brushes and they work fine seems just to be the graphite brush.

  • Please confirm if it is a vector or pixel layer.
  • Are you using the (graphite brush) smudge tool on a pixel brush, or live brush, or vector brush? Also, confirm the brush name.
  • Have you recently updated the Fresco app? What is the current app & OS version?
  • Please share your device details.
  • Have you tried resetting the brush?
  • The smudge tool's behavior can be affected by pressure sensitivity. Ensure that your iPad's Apple Pencil (or compatible stylus) is working correctly and that pressure sensitivity is enabled in the app settings.
