Suggestion for Guides/Grids
I do a type of floor plan, aerial view, drawings. So I need the final output/export to show the grid/graph lines. I do this so squares can be counted to find the distance between points instead of cluttering the drawing with dimension lines. This style of drawing is easier for laypeople to read than architectural drawings.
To do this, I currently have to close the tool panels and decrease the size of the drawing so that these 3 things (the open-tool-panel arrows, the last tool selected, and the touch-shortcut) aren't over the canvas and then I take a screenshot. Then I have to crop that screenshot to the edges of the actual canvas to get rid of those 3 things before I save it as a final jpg or png to send off or share.
It would be great if there were an option (toggle) to check/select in the Guides Pane that would show the grid in the background layer, or in it's own layer that I could put behind all the other layers. That way I could simply use the Quick Export and my graph lines would be included in my final product.
And my grid is a different size (and maybe a different color and opacity) for every drawing I do, so I can't simply screenshot a grid and save it as an image to use in a layer each time I do a new drawing.
