The Symbol always goes wild when I'm using the app, what can I do? Restarting the app doesn't work either.

Hello @Nisha Marleen38481524e5y3,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to run Fresco under Safe Mode (Windows / macOS) and checking if it helps?

If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Fresco and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/45UGBHs), so we can investigate this further?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Hey,

Sorry I guess I wasn't very specific in my problem before, so here's the main issue (I'm having this problem animating in Adobe Fresco btw I guess I should've mentioned that xd):

Everytime I work on an animation with 30+ frames, it gets very laggy and the symbol starts flickering (which is kind of annoying but not that bothersome). Everytime this happens though, my pen starts buffering and doesn't add up with the drawing lines anymore. This is only in that app, it works fine outside of it.

Also the program crashes sometimes this happens.

I work on the microsoft surface pro 7 with windows 11. I don't have a lot of knowledge in this field, so I'm kind of hesitant of doing some major changes to my laptop.

I'll attach a video of the "flickering" but I think you get what I mean. Thanks for the help :))

Hello @Nisha Marleen38481524e5y3,

Thanks for sharing the details. Would you mind performing a clean reinstallation of the GPU drivers (Intel / NVIDIA / AMD) and setting the Graphics Preference to High-Performance for Fresco (https://adobe.ly/3WcKap9) and checking if it helps?

Also, try updating the firmware/drivers for your Surface device (https://adobe.ly/4cSvQYf) and install any pending OS updates (https://adobe.ly/3WdddsF) to check if it helps.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
