Text Feature

I began my Fresco journey with the free version.  However, I cancelled that subscription and purchased the paid, premium version to have access to the "Text" feature.  Since upgrading, I have been unable to locate this text feature.  I see screenshots of where it SHOULD appear - on the bottom of the left sidebar - but I cannot get it to appear on my screen.  (I have updated my Fresco twice since the upgrade, wondering if that might be the problem; but it has not changed anything.) 

Please help me locate and access this feature?  Thank you in advance.
