Touch Select Layer (like Photoshop)

I'm new to Fresco, and also a new Ipad user

I learned Photoshop and Illustrator only, so I'm used to the standard feature "touch/click on the artboard, and the layer is selected"

Is this possible on Fresco? I'm using the Apple pencil

I have been wanting this shortcut in Fresco from day one, and still there is no way to touch select a layer as it is common in Photoshop. That's why I have started to use Procreate.
