Vector Images Export as Pixel in Fresco

This is a problem I have been having for the past couple of months, but I've become fed up with it because nothing is working. Any time I try to import a completely vector image, with no pixel layers at all, it becomes entirely pixelated when I try to export it. Every time I go into the Publish and Export menu it shows up as pixelated and it's driving me nuts. No matter what I export it as, no matter what size it is, it stays pixely. The only way I've been able to circumvent this is by taking a screenshot, but that's not ideal for images I want with transparent backgrounds. I find it laughable that a screenshotting program that comes free with windows renders it better than a service I have to pay for.

I've been looking on here for an answer, and I've seen others with my problem but never a way to fix it. Even posts from all the way back in 2020.

The images I've included are of a very quick example of my problem.

Correct answer Madame Talos

So, I have found the answer.

Appartently, the canvices have to be larger for what I'm using, so when I'm done drawing the image I need to enlarge it quite a bit which kinda sucks when I'm trying to fit drawings to small physical sheets. Oh well.

What size is your original image and are you zooming in to show the results of the export?

Fresco does not create true Vector graphics, it creates shapes rather than vector lines.

The image shown here is about 3.5 inches by 4.5 inches. but I have had the same problem with larger images around 8 inches by 18 inches .

Hello!
I can clearly see the difference!
One bit I don't get from your question is the bit when you import a vector image.
You can't as far as I know import/place a vector image IN FRESCO, so maybe there is something that I missed. The fact that there isn't even an import function in Fresco, but rather a place option, makes me think that maybe something is lost here. (when I try to place an image it won't show me the .ai files or any file other than png or jpeg)
Fresco can generate vectors, but you cannot (as of now) control the nodes with bezier curves as you would with illustrator. It's another kind of vector behaviour.
Can you confirm exactly what are the steps you are following in your workflow
Here is a file I just exported, done with vectors:

Using the export as > PNG

Here are the file properties

Hope it helps!

"Import" was a typo on my part, I was meaning to put "Export".

In the past it has not worked as a .PNG for me, but I'll try again. Perhaps I was doing something wrong.

Nope, even exporting as a PNG is not working.
