Why can't I see all my .psd files in LR Collections when I try to import one in Fresco?

This issue has baffled me for a long time and now I am on a mission to solve it.  I have many .psd files that are synced from LR Classic and clearly visible in LR as collections.  When I am working in Fresco and try to import them from LR, only a fraction of those files are visible and available for import.  Why are the rest of them not showing up?

Some psd files will not open in Fresco. Some features of Photoshop prevent them from opening. At a guess it could be that those files which won't open are the ones which are not visible.

Thanks Sjanni. I have been reading some more about this issue and I am coming to terms with the limitations. There are always a workaround and I think I am almost there. Thanks for your response.
