Why .psd only?

Why are Photoshop files the only format that Fresco can open? This restriction makes importing images into Fresco overly complicated.

Fresco is a relativly new app which is still evolving.
Photoshop files were the first file format, hopefully there are more to come.

You can add your request to their UserVoice page where others have also asked about other file formats such as .ai
