1% Minimums in Illustrator - Dropshadows, Gaussian Blur...

How do I create a drop shadow that ends with 1% process black? or a gaussian blur that ends with 1%?

That only works when editing afterwards.

Or making that shadow larger than actually needed, so it drops off at the desired size.

The Printer specs are 1% minimums. When they eyedrop the pdf it needs to read 1%.

Put a box below it, fill it with 1% black and set it to multiply.
