2018 Illustrator CC - Exporting Multiple Artboards Issue

Hello!

In the document settings I have all the dimensions correct so that I can upload via "Export As" (PNG - 300 PPI) to a print on demand website. I know that everything is correct because when I export the first artboard uploads fine according to their required dimensions. However, when I go to upload the other artboards that have the same dimensions a notification appears stating the dimensions are incorrect. How can this be if the first artboard uploaded just fine?

Is this perhaps a 2018 AI bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

Here are the troubleshooting steps I have already taken:

1. Made sure "Use Artboard" was selected when exporting.

2. Tried in both pixels and points to export. The dimensions are 1080px * 1296px * 300 PPI = 4500px by 5400px (the right dimensions for the website).

3. Tried to use the "Save For Web" feature to no avail.

4. Whenever I replace the original artwork on Artboard 1 with an artwork from another Artboard THEN it is able to upload, so the first artboard is the only one that renders an uploadable PNG file.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to make my workflow more efficient. Thanks!

Hey Monika,

I did the following:

I measured a grid square side which gave me 36px. I then opened a new document and made the spacing for all the artboards 36px. It worked!! Thank you so much!

Is there a specific reason for this? If the dimensions are all identical why do they have to align to the grid? Either way thank you for your help!

Are all the artboards aligned to pixels?

All pixels needs to be undivided. If the artboard is not aligned to a whole pixel, then everything needs to be resampled and there might even be miscalculations.
