25.1 Opacityy Mask not working properly any longer after update

The opacity mask is not working any longer in update to 25.1. Please help as this is a MAJOR tool I use in my illustrations.

Unfortunately this is a bug. It has already been reported on Uservoice, but there is no fix as of now. If you go to outline View and then back, the screen gets updated.
