Question

3D / revolve

Please someone - Help!!

I'm not exactly a newbee, but not very good either..

I've tried to make a Globe with lines, by using the following:

Created a grit and saved as symbol

Make a Circle and delete one of the path / points to get a halfcircle.

Chose the Effect/3D/revolve

Added the grit to the map art / scale to fit / invisible geometri

So far so good. I got a nice lined globe.

Now I want to tilt it, and Ill. start to render, ending up in a black screen and crasses.

Anyone now what I'm doing wrong, I've made one nice globe for test, so vrong color.

I'm using CS4 and is on a fearly new MSI gamecomputer, power shouldn't be the problem.

In the hope that someone know this problem, and tanks a lot up front for all answers.

CS4 on a new computer - Windows 10?

1. Windows 10 is not compatible with CS4

2. While your computer might be powerful CS4 is not. It's 32 bit. You can throw a lot of RAM at it, but it can't use it.

Can you post a screenshot of what you have achieved so far?

Hi Monika,

I've added some screendumps of my steps. I keept it rendering for about 15 min. and then stop it.

The program didn't crash this time but it just left me with the "start point"

I've also added the .ai file.

Hope you have some suggestions.

thanks a lot in advance.

That looks like a fairly simple document, but you can't attach AI files in here. Please post to Dropbox or the like.
