A faster way to sort objects into layers by brush stroke?

I'm trying to find a faster way to sort objects into separate layers (by which brush they use).

Right now I select one object with the brush stroke I'd like to sort.

Select>Same>Apperance 

then

Select the new layer>right click>Arrange>Send to Layer

This takes so long when I have to do it 30 times for each document.
