A glitch across all adobe apps, cannot click on a project

Clicking to open a file in Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Photoshop is almost impossible through the dashboard. Other ways to open a project are not affected. It seems to instantly go into a drag and drop mode? Like why would it ever? Can someone help me fix this?

    Did you already try rebooting the system?

     

    Which version of Illustrator and system is it?

    How large are the files?
