a ton of stuff in illustrator becomes the wrong size as soon as I use the program on a secondmonitor

This makes no sense, and nothing in preferences has fixed this, and nor has anything in the display settings. Windows 10, plz help bc i have given up pretty much trying to make this a usable program. Also, "Actual Size" isnt actual size at all, and when i put the rulers on, an inch on screen is more like 3/4 of an inch in real life. wtf!!!!!!!!!!!

there are 2 different stories.

1. Interface elements size. Did you change it in Edit > Preferences > User Interface > UI Scale? Did it give any visible changes?

2. Doc & rules size/ It follows the monitor resolution. Try to change the second monitor resolution and look at what's happening.
