Hi All !!!

Perhaps I will indicate the wrong search area for the next question (Scripting or SKD or ???)

As you know, in Illustrator you can create 3D objects, and in addition change these objects in space ((displacement, rotation, overlaid image, ...). In fact, in addition to these parameters, there are also camera parameters and display planes for the camera..

Is it possible to transfer the transformation matrix parameters obtained for a 3D object in Illustrator to the transformation matrix of a layer in the AE application?

The transformation (you are referring to position and rotation) do not get exported from Illustrator. As a surface there is only the color applied.

You might want to watch this here: https://www.adobe.com/max/2023/sessions/na-get-the-hollywood-look-on-a-budget-using-3d-vs100.html  (it's a workflow with Adobe Substance and Cinema 4D for the modelling. You can replace Cinema 4D with Illustrator, but the Substance part is important for the positioning and the texturing)

Does anyone know if it is possible to solve this issue in After Effects Beta version?

The problem is that Illustrator does not export that information.
