ace code editor in HTML5 plugin UI

Hello,

Did anyone embedded successfully the Ace code editor (written in Javascript) in a HTML5 plugin UI?

I've made it, but some functions seem not to show up (like search box).

I wonder what causes this.

I think it is related to Illustrator keyboard shortcuts. Could Illustrator prevent passing the keyboard shortcuts to an extension? If so, could it be prevented?
