there are several fonts I havwe activated in (latest version of conncet fonts from suitcase but they do not apear activated in Illustrator. Did I miss something about the support of surtain types of Fonts? Or is there an other obvious reason for this problem?
Yes that is what I fear. I gues I should have taken more attention ass all of this probably was communicated earlier. Thanks for your input though
It has been announced some months ago. There have been warnings when opening files that contain Type1 fonts.
I hope you can somehow update your fonts.
Another thing you could do: it's still possible to download the older version. You could install it along the current version and use it as long it's compatible with your system while you search for solutions for the fonts.
