actions recording not working

Actions will not record going to the menu ‘File’ and goint to ‘Scripts’ and launching a script. I would like to map a function key to my script. I have an action done in an earlier version of AI so I know this should work. Also I cannot find an ‘Export actions’ anywhere in the flip out menu.

Did you use the Insert Menu Item option during the recording of your action?

There should also be a Save Actions option when you select an actions set.

This worked! I can’t remember having to do that the last time I added a script to an action.

I cannot find any save actions in the flip out menu. The screenshot is in Swedish, sorry about that.

Spara funktionsmakron… is only available when you select the folder (actions set) that contains the ac tion.
