Adobe 2024 Illustrator constantly crashing

Hey there,

I have been working on a presentation on illustrator over the last week and didn't have any issues till today - none of my changes are saving and everytime I try to do one small thing like save the file as a new file or export it, illustrator becomes unresponsive and I have to force quit.

I have unistalled the app, created more space on my laptop.

I have no idea what to do and this is extremely frustrating as this is the only time this has happened to me.

I had a student who had issues with Adobe Illustrator 2024. She literally had to un-install Photoshop and then it was fine. For her, it was a space issue. And RAM too, she only had 4Gigs of RAM, and she had to close and quit most apps on her computer.

Is a printer connected, turned on and set up as the default printer? Illustrator saves information about the printer into the file and reads it when opening the file (creating a new file is somewhat also opening). So when anything is not working smoothly with the printer, Illustrator tends to act up.
