Question

Adobe Automatically Offloading Fonts on Creative Cloud

Adobe has randomly offloaded almost all of my fonts from my Creative Cloud. I've been working on several projects using different font families and, after having to relaunch and update Illustrator today, the fonts have been offloaded and are now being marked as "missing".

When I go to my fonts in my Creative Cloud app (see attached screenshot), you can clearly see they have been offloaded. Now I have to go through and re-add a TON of fonts.

In this world, time is money. And Adobe, you are costing me money having to re-add fonts I've already been working with. Not cool.

If this is a "me" error and I've done something wrong, holla at me.

@Robyn Alford Sometimes, Adobe Creative Cloud will often deactivate fonts that haven't been used in a while to free up resources. Which is a great thing to be honest with you. The people who created their fonts, sometimes a font's license expires or its terms change, CC may deactivate it. If a font file becomes corrupted or damaged, Adobe CC may automatically deactivate it to prevent issues.

Honestly, I typically use a font manager and install the fonts locally to my computer. This will prevent the off-loading of fonts too!
