Adobe Cloud Global Swatches - Spot Colours convert themselves to CMYK

We use a number of Spot Colour Swatches saved in Adobe Library for our print and finishing processes. Each Colour gets a unique name and RGB colour that other equipment also recognises and uses.

Recently the Spot Colours convert themselves to CMYK on their own. Meaning we set jobs up not realising they are CMYK and they don't work further down the line at finishing for example.

Hi @beautifuldesign,

We are sorry for the trouble & delayed response. Would you mind checking & confirming if your issue is the same one mentioned on this UserVoice (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-feature-requests/suggestions/31943515-global-process-colors-get-added-twice-when-added-f)? If yes, would you mind upvoting & adding your comment there.

If not, would you mind confirming if it is looking the same in InDesign as well? Do you recall in which version it was showing as spot color earlier instead of CMYK? What is the current version of Illustrator you are using?

Moreover, you can also reach out to our Teams Support (https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/support-for-teams.html). The team here would be able to perform remote troubleshooting and assist you accordingly.

Thanks & Regards,

Anshul Saini
