Adobe Fonts not loading in Illustrator 2025

Just recently, fonts from Adobe Fonts are not loading up in Illustrator 2025. My OS software is up to date, I have logged in/logged out Adobe and apps, attempted to resolve missing fonts, cleaned out font cache, etc. with no resolve. Illustrator is stating that the fonts are not loaded up on my computer (though the fonts originated from Adobe Fonts/Creative Cloud).

I have followed a lot of guidance via google searches, without any resolve.

I would be incredibly grateful for any guidance for resolving this issue.

Thank you in advance!!

Hello @Molly239998318gzw,

You can install your apps on multiple computers, but you can activate or sign in to your apps on only two devices at the same time. Also, you can use your apps on only one device at a time. Learn more about the terms of use for your Adobe apps.

For help with the fonts not syncing on the older computer. Kindly try the following steps to check if they help:

  • Close all Adobe applications
  • Remove the Creative Cloud Desktop application, CCLibrary, and CoreSync using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool (https://adobe.ly/3ZxjtwO)
  • Reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application (https://adobe.ly/3FSkiJU)
  • Relaunch Illustrator

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Anubhav,

I wanted to tell you thank you- the Adobe Cloud Cleaner tool is what finally worked. I appreciate your help!

Take care, Molly

What are your computer system specifications? Are you running your Creative Cloud subscription on more than one computer? Is the Internet connection running solid?

Thank you so much for your response! I am on an iMac running Sequoia 15.5. I do have a cloud subscription on a new MacBook Air and am not having any font issues in Illustrator (just installed CC/Illustrator 2025 last evening as a test). My iMac is 2021, 8 GB, Apple M1 chip. I am not sure if this is due to internet issues or not. I have the laptop next to it and it is not having issues, but it is also new. We have been having a weak internet connection from time to time due to issues with the extender, so I am wondering if that could be the problem. I have used my phone as a hotspot, however, and the fonts still are not loading up.

Thanks again for your input!

Make sure both MacBook Air and iMac are properly signed into the same Creative Cloud account. Up to two computers are allowed to be used on a Creative Cloud account, such as a work desktop computer and notebook computer. Mobile devices like phones and iPads don't count toward that install limit. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I don't think both computers can be actively running Adobe applications at the same time, especially if the two computers can see each other on a local area network.
