Adobe Illustrator 2024 Closes Automatically. Dell Laptop

So while working on Ai it closes  Randomly i did not find any specific tools which can cause it. i also cannot get the log files.

my config just in case: 

Intel core i5-1235U

16 GB ( Dual Channel )  Ram 2777 Bus Speed

intel Iries  XE GPU 

there is no eGPU or Dedcaited, as far as i remeber i did worked on intels iGPU without any issues. 

please help me fix this because this is causeing time gaps and work losts.

1. Check for System and Driver Updates

• Update Drivers:
  • Graphics Drivers: Even though you're using Intel's iGPU, it's crucial to have the latest drivers. Go to Intel's Driver & Support Assistant and let it automatically detect and install the latest drivers.
  • Chipset Drivers: Check for updates on your motherboard's chipset drivers (usually available on the laptop or motherboard manufacturer's website).

2. Examine Background Processes and Resource Usage

• Task Manager: Monitor system resources (CPU, RAM, GPU, Disk) while working on AI tasks. If you notice any spikes in resource usage that correlate with the crashes, that can give you a clue about what's happening.
• Heat: Ensure that the system isn't overheating. Sometimes, laptops can overheat when running intensive tasks like AI processing, causing the system to shut down or crash.
  • Use tools like HWMonitor or CoreTemp to monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures.
  • Clean out any dust from your laptop vents, or use a cooling pad to help dissipate heat.

3. Check for Faulty Software/Tools

• Memory Usage: With 16GB of RAM, you should be able to handle most tasks. But if you're running memory-intensive applications (like training AI models or running simulations), it might lead to crashes if the software exceeds available memory.
• Third-party Applications: Disable unnecessary third-party applications running in the background. Some of them might interfere with the stability of the AI software you're using.
• AI Software: If possible, check if the issue occurs only with certain AI tools or software. Sometimes, specific versions of software or libraries can cause crashes if they're not fully compatible with your hardware.

4. Crash Logs and Debugging

• If you're unable to find the crash logs, try enabling crash dumps or checking Event Viewer in Windows:
  • Press Windows + X and select Event Viewer.
  • Go to Windows Logs > Application and look for any error messages or warnings at the time of the crash.
  • This might give you more information on the specific issue that caused the crash.

5. Run System Diagnostics

• Memory Test: Use the built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check if there are any issues with your RAM.
  • Type "Windows Memory Diagnostic" in the Start menu and select it. Follow the prompts to restart your system and check your RAM.
• Hard Drive Check: Run a disk check (CHKDSK) to ensure your storage device isn't causing issues. Open a Command Prompt as an administrator and type chkdsk /f and press enter.
• Intel Diagnostics: Intel provides a system diagnostic tool that can check for any hardware issues (like CPU or GPU problems). You can download and run it from Intel's website.

6. Adjust Power Settings

• If you’re on a laptop, make sure your power settings are set to High Performance to avoid the system throttling your CPU/GPU, especially under load.
  • Go to Control Panel > Power Options and select High Performance.

• If you're using a specific AI library (like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), try running a sample task with a different framework to see if the issue persists. If one framework crashes but another doesn't, it could be related to how that framework is interacting with your system's hardware.

8. System Resource Optimization

• Virtual Memory/Pagefile: Increase the virtual memory (pagefile) size, especially if you're working on large AI models or data processing.
  • Right-click on This PC > Properties > Advanced system settings > Settings (under Performance).
  • Go to Advanced and increase the Virtual Memory.
