Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 quit unexpectedly error

I just downloaded Adobe Illustrator CC2017, but every time I try and open it I get this error straight away: "Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 quit unexpectedly error".

I'm on a macbook pro with os x yoesemite. I've tried uninstalling and re installing but with no luck.

    I tried copying it to the desktop but it did not work - I am on a Mac Book Pro. Not happy.

    Describe your system and version.

    Please don't post Crash reports in the forum.

    Having the exact same issue.

    In case you're running the latest version, contact support. They can log onto your machine and then try and find the issue:

    Contact Customer Care

    The forum can only give general advice, but for this to happen, more detailed info would be needed.

    Which version?

    Which system exactly?

    Did you check the hardware?

    Are you logged in as Admin?

    Any third party plugins?

    Allonts checked? Font management up to date?

    Is a printer connected, set up and turned on?

    Any additional devices attached? A Wacom? Driver up to date?

    Any system extensions installed?

    Which other applications are running besides Illustrator?

    Did it ever work?

    Did you already reset the preferences?

    Uninstall, run the Adobe Cleaner tool reinstall?

    What else did you already try to solve the issue?
