Hi there,

My Adobe Illustrator has crash whenever I click on the image/item. The message read, "Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 has stopped working."

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

And there is a button which says, "Close program".

I noticed that I got this problem after I updated the software about 3 months ago.

Please help! help! help!

I can't do my design anymore!!!

Thanks for your help in advance!

Regards,

Adam

Hi Twarita,

Thanks for trying to help me with the Illustrator software problem I am facing.

Yes, I have resetted the preferences to default and restarted it again but it is still the same.

It stopped/close the program when I ungroup/group copy/paste drag/drop combine/separate select/deselect the images to arrange them into what I need.

I used to do these tasks without the crash in the past but not anymore.

It crashes after I make a couple of clicks/moves (let's say about 10 to 15 clicks/moves) and it stopped and close the program before I could save the changes or export it.

Please help.

Thanks again.

Regards,

Adam

Have you tried uninstalling Illustrator using the uninstall option in the Creative Cloud Desktop app? Click on the "V" to the right of the app's name in the app section to access the uninstall option. Before reinstalling use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems . Then reinstall through the desktop app. Before launching the newly reinstalled program make sure that all old preference files have once again been deleted.

If this does not solve the problem then I would suggest contacting Adobe Customer Care Contact Customer Care . They will be able to analyze your system in more detail than is possible in the user to user forum.
