Adobe Illustrator Chrashing

I-pad Pro (IpadOS verson 17.1.2)

Adobe illustrator has worked perfectly fine on my Ipad for years. I can open the app, start a new project or enter an old project, but whenever I attempt to use any tools or select any icon it crashes. This has been going on for two weeks.

I have done all of the folowing steps:

1) deleted the app

2) updated my ipad to the latest version

3) turned the ipad off/on again

4) reinstalled the illustrator app with the latest version

 

I need the program functional for work

    Illustrator is currently not really compatible with iPad OS 17

     

    You can try and turn off the Apple Pencil effects in the system settings.
