Adobe Illustrator Click and Drag broken

Using a company laptop, currently when I move any object/text/shape/etc on an artboard it lags and then becomes attached to my cursor without me holding down. Essentially, I am unable to click and drag anything. I checked, and all of my "snap" settings appear to be the same on this new work laptop and my personal laptop, but I am able to click and drag as normal. The version of illustrator installed is the same as well. How do I fix this?

I found a thread that had the answer! The issue was solved after contacting my IT/network admin and having them uninstall a program called ProofPoint.

I found that solution via comments on this thread:

Official answer if the issue is Proofpoint. Let you administrator know about their solution so they can assist.
