Adobe Illustrator error - Wrong number of image bytes (too few)

Question

On M1 Mac Mini apple silicone chip (Big Sur), Adobe Illy version 25.45.

I am getting an error when trying to export an Esko PDF from Illustrator "Wrong number of image bytes (too few)", then upon clicking "OK" within the error box, Illy crashes.

I am not able to update to a later Illy version because our Esko plugins are not supported in a newer version.

Almost 13 people in my department are experiencing the same error, too.

Sorry to hear about this experience and for the late response. I hope the problem is resolved by now. If not, kindly try opening Illustrator using Rosetta emulation mode and share your observations with us.
