Adobe illustrator not responding when saving file old version

hello can you help me? I tried to re-edit an old file and when I save the file, the app doesn't respond. even though the adobe illustrator I use is still CC 2022, it's just a different version with the initial edit and when I save it back to the latest version in .ai or .pdf format, the program doesn't respond and when I keep the program open I wait for a miracle for up to an hour for the results remains the same.

the file is a product label, besides containing vector it also contains several jpegs that have been embedded in the file. is there any solution for this?
