Adobe Illustrator on macOS - Problems with Tools

Question

Hi all! I'm going crazy here, my Illustrator keeps on glitching, tools not working and I don't know how to solve. I already quit the app so many times, close all other programs while using it, restart the mac, uninstalled and downoalded the program but the same keeps happening. The cloud storage is 1% full so i really have no idea of what can be happening.

Hello @Leo37946075o6ps,We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind trying to reset Illustrator's preferences as described in this article (https://adobe.ly/3ApO31B) and checking if it helps? Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned above.If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, if Illustrator behaves this way with all files, and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/4coCBk2), so we can investigate this further?
