Adobe Illustrator Running Slow

My Adobe is running super slow for the simplest tasks.

I received a message about an intel error but cannot seem to get it back to help resolve the slowness.

Has anyone else gotten this pop up and what do i need to do to fix my slow adobe?

Graphic card incompatibilities can of course slow down Illustrator.

You might contact Customer Care. They can log into your system to check it out: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

I was able to find pop up again.

it says

"Current version of yor intel display driver may cause performance and stability issue. It is strongly recommended that you update to driver version 100.9168 or later. Drivers are provided by Intel or your computer's manufacturer."

Is this something really necessary? or is it because of the update it messed with my computer.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

G

Without any system information and possibly other technical details nobody can tell you much. Start by checking your hardware acceleration settings and stuff liek temp folders and such.

I am on a windows (work) computer. i have the newest updated Adobe Illustrator. I just recently got adobe illustrator onto my computer through my work. like a month or less ago.

the pop up mentioned something about a techincian needing to fix or download something to help make adobe run smoother.

I am not sure if it had to do something with graphics either.

I also do not know much about the components or lingo of computer. (This probably does not help)

But thank you for the advice,

G
