"Adobe Illustrator issue:

There are some white squares appearing on vector character. How can I fix this?"

CPU Preview is generally more reliable than GPU Preview. But what happened to your file? It looks unnecessary complex, says converted in the file name.

I thus use CPU preview to fix this issue. I got this from Vector Stock. Thank you, everyone.

Hi @adventurous_Charm5ED5,

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Those white boxes usually show up when clipping masks or transparency effects are not rendering properly. Could you confirm if this happens only in Illustrator or also when exporting to PDF or image formats? Try selecting the artwork and going to Object > Clipping Mask > Release to see if any hidden shapes are causing it. It would also help to check in Outline View (View > Outline) to see what's behind the characters. If the issue continues, please share which version of Illustrator, operating system you are using and a sample file, so I can test this further.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek

When I preview using GPU (RGB/Preview), a white square appears next to the characters.

However, when I switch to CPU Overprint Preview (RGB), the white square disappears.  If I use CPU preview, will there be any issues with print colors? Version of Illustrator:29.8 , macOS Sequoia Version 15.5
