Adobe Stock file corrupted

Hi,
I have downloaded a corrupted .ai file from Adobe Stock "AdobeStock_136174951". It´s a name card. Illustrator gives me the attached error message "Illustrator could partially open this file" and then it opens an empty artboard.

How do I go about getting my credit back?

Why do you not have a way of reporting this?

There are only two options to report a file on Adobe Stock:

"You may report the following issues:
Content contains the names of people (including artists' names)
Content may infringe on IP rights (such as copyright, design, or trademark rights, model or property rights)"

How useless is this?

Kind Regards

Marton

Does the stock art item have live text in it? The problem is very likely a bug in the current v29.2.1 general release build of Illustrator. I'm seeing the problem myself. If I try opening Illustrator .AI files created by another graphics application (such as CorelDRAW) and the file has live text objects in it the file will fail to open. I'll see the same error message you posted.

The solution I found is installing an earlier build of Illustrator, such as v28.7.4. I can open the files with live text objects successfully in that version. When I re-save the artwork within that copy of Illustrator the file will then open properly in v29.2.1.

Hi Bobby, thanks for the swift answer!
It´s really frustrating to see no support or a quick fix from Adobe for these instances.
It´s really not worth being stuck with v28.7.4. in case I need to edit on this card something in the future.
I am really frustrated with Adobe. But I guess it´s my loss.
