after save in illustrator file in pdf not showing link image and damaged

    we are having similar issue with all of our Mac users.  We are reverting back to the eps to distiller function which is time consuming but it can work.

    talk about taking 10 steps backwards

    Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying to update the OS & Illustrator (28.1) to the latest version and checking if it helps?

    So the error is "insufficient data for an image"?
