AI 29.3.1: Quitting/Crashing when Using Bluetooth Keyboards?

Question

While working at home this morning, Illustrator would keep invoking the Quit dialog (with no option to cancel) and would shut down on its own after a few seconds. The same thing just happened to me at the office. In both cases, I was using a Bluetooth keyboard. At home, when I switched to the laptop keyboard, Illustrator behaved as expected. Two different Macs, two different keyboards and multiple files. Any advice? Thank you.

Hello @tonywardarts,Would you mind checking if your Bluetooth keyboard has a companion app (like Logi Options) and disabling it temporarily to see if it helps?Also, try running Illustrator under Safe Mode (macOS) and share your observations.Looking forward to hearing from you. Anubhav
