AI and AE crashes and hangs forever.

Recently, I've run into a problem where AI crashes, and when I open it again, it completely hangs. I've redownloaded it, restarted the app and pc, and it still keeps happening. I've never had such problems. The same has been happening to Ae. The only difference is that AE works for like a few minutes every time I restart my PC. When it opens, it goes to the start in safe mode option page, but it hangs forever. My PS works completely fine. Someone, pls help.
