When I export for screen to any of the ouputs (pdf, png, etc), I am getting a small white border (see image). This borders exists whether on screen or printed.  It can also be seen in the export for screen preview. I have used a 0.1" bleed. I have also fit the artboards to the artwork before exporting. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Why do you save with bleed via "Export for screens"? That doesn't make too much sense.

Also: when exporting fractions of units to raster formats, that will lead to additional pixels added to the output file.

Bleed is needed for printing. Did you create your artwork bigger than the artboard?

Sorry, I'm pretty new to all of this.  My first goal was a good print copy, so I thought it was a bleed problem.  The artwork is the same size as the artboard (w/the extra bleed).

I think you're right about the fractions of units causing the problem, but how do I set it up initially, or process the work before exporting, so that doesn't happen? I appreciate your help with this.

Artwork with bleed needs to be created like this: The bleed needs to be set up to the exact specifications given by the print service.

As for exporting: That depends on where this will be printed and how. Usually you will send a PDF. Ask the print service provider for the exact specifications and create it in that way.

There is a PDF guide for printing. I would suggest you read it. It's a long read and it's just a starter.
