Ai file saved as pdf loses content

Question

I am running Ai 27.4.1when saving as pdf I lose much of my contentThis has been happening only the latest two documents I've created and I need the pdf for the printer!Please help!

I am afraid you will need to help helpers with more information, preferably with screenshots or something (preferably using Insert Photos button in the Reply box (looks like moon over mountains)), at least with the artwork and the Layers panel with the relevant Layer(s) expanded.

It is safer to Save a Copy as PDF, lest you end up with a PDF instead of the working AI document.

One of the many possible questions: have you any non printing Layers?

Edit: Hi Ton, you were 27 seconds faster than I. It is still mostly chilly here, even under the sun.
