ai2canvas plug-in - resizing

Question

Hey- so i recently downloaded the ai2canvas plugin, I have watched the creators tutorials but I havent found the answer I am looking for.

I am using the plug-in for my digital art, which is 8x8 so its a square. When i export the image through canvasHTML its this huge rectangle canvas with my image super small in the center.. how do i fix this? or at least make the canvas square.

So i just recently downloaded it- i'm assuming the latest version. I went
to the creators blog site & downloaded his 2022 adapted api's- which had an
instructions file & seemed to have worked with letting me save things to an
export but it's all messed up once you open it.

The Ai->Canvas plug-in enables Adobe Illustrator to export vector and
bitmap artwork directly to an HTML5 canvas element that can be rendered in
a canvas-enabled browser. The plug-in provides drawing, animation and
coding options such as events so that you can build interactive,
well-designed canvas-based web apps.

To install, extract the appropriate .aip file to your Illustrator plug-ins
folder (default locations for Illustrator 2022 below):

Ai2Canvas64.aip (\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2022\Plug-ins)
Ai2CanvasMac.aip (/Applications/Adobe Illustrator 2022/Plug-ins)

Start Illustrator, pull down the File menu, select Export..., and verify
that " (*.HTML)" is available in the Save as type drop-down list.
There are no other options to configure or runtimes to install."
