Alternate glyphs don't show up

Hi guys,

 

I use Illustrator on PC (and I'm a beginner). When I type a text I wish I could use some alternative glyphs. Unfortunately in the Glyphs Window only the standard letter appears, no alternative glyphs are presented.

Do you know why?

In the Glyphs panel select: Show > Alternates for Current Selection
