Another day, another Illustrator failure

Looks like Illustrator forgot how to do its job. Currently on 29.1 as the latest version has completely messed up all my mechanical files with it's loopy font replacement bug. Nothing has had me looking forward to retirement more than not having to use this software to make a living. Unfortunately, I'll be working until I drop, and maybe it will be because of all the daily stress I endure using this nightmare app.
