Any fix for 5 second zoom lag on both GPU & CPU performance?

Pretty much what it says in the title. There is a reliable 4-5 second lag whenever I try to zoom in and out of the canvas no matter what I use to zoom (scroll wheel, zoom tool, ctrl+). This happens even on completely blank files.

I’ve tried both CPU & GPU performance, toggling them both on and off, disabling animated zoom, updating my NVIDIA studio driver, restarting my computer. I also tried to switch to GPU view, but that option is disabled for me.

The only thing that works is zooming in in Outline mode but… surely that can’t be the only solution. Can’t exactly use Outline mode forever.

This is significantly slowing my work down, and I can’t find any answers 😭
