Any known ETA for the Quick Pen Tool in the Desktop Versions of Illustrator

Hello,

I wanted to know, when we can expect the Quick Pen Tool to be included in the Desktop versions?
It's a useful tool, but I don't want to use the tool in the web version only...it's a hassle for me to switch designs back and fort between the web and desktop versions?

Some people had this tool in the desktop beta version of illustrator, but there is currently no illustrator beta version for the desktop - only the web version of illustrator.
