Anyone else getting crashes after the newest Illustrator 2026 update?

I'm not working in a heavy file or anything-- since I've updated Illustrator it's crashed like 5 times in 2 hours for no discernable reason. I updated to fix lag issues on the last version and I keep losing work (and my mind). Anyone else having this problem? I'm not using AI tools or 3D tools or anything that's memory heavy.

Same here some too! I have Windows 11 and intel core ULTRA 7.

@heeralc1 sadly, you are not alone! You can try resetting Illsutaror preferences, maybe it's a courrupted preferecnes, and if that fixes it, awesome! If not, you can disabling GPU Performance

And by chance, that still doesn't solve the issue, roll back to a previous version that wasn't as glitchy as 2026!

Thank you for your reply! I got so fed up and lost so much work that I indeed decided to go backwards to an earlier version, but will definitely try this if I brave the new update again!
